yesyesyes! the class tee is out! i just collected them from queensway, i'm praying very hard that the class wouldn't mind it! i think it looks okay, but the problem is that there's this pop-out effect for the words 'seven one' on the back of the shirt. the words are supposed to be coloured scarlet red, but it looks more like a peachy pink after the embossment, cos of the expansion of that area. so i really hope that the guys wouldn't mind too much...
ahh...really worried that the class won't like the shirt! i certainly won't want anyone feeling like they are forced and obliged to wear the shirt or something...that will be really sad :( i guess i've to wait till tmr to find out wat the class thinks.

today was speak bad madarin day. chelly and kaiqian were trying their very best to converse in the chinese language. It was an extremely hilarious conversation that made the authenticity of chelly's 'A' and distinction on her O level chinese cert highly questionable. allow me to cite a few examples. Madarin - the chelly version:
1. "oh, shit!"; translation: "阿, 粪!"
2. "she was breathing down my neck"; translation: "她在我旁边呼吸"
3. and the last one, "i received an 'A' for my chinese"; translation: "我的华文成绩拿优"
haha, the last one is like how ironic! oh, and there's a final contribution by shimin. here goes. "i'm going to the left wing". translation: "我要去左翅膀"!

a month is flying by and i haven't updated yet! oops! haha, felt really lazy. anyway that's not record-breaking yet, hee!
well well, you could say that for the whole of feb so far i was in sort of a dilemma. and i'm still in that dilemma right now! sigh. i think i'm really fickle-minded. i don't know whether i should joing the mad dance night...it'll be held on 20th may, which is before block test two. i know i should be concentrating on my studies since i'm J2 now, but the dance night is just so tempting! there will be a large variety of dances, ranging from the usual hiphop to jazz, contemporary modern dance, and even salsa! that's soo cool!! i wanna learn salsa! shiru has begun her first salsa practice, and she said that it's really tough! but i'm still keen on learning anyway. however, the problem comes in when i've to go for one additional practice per dance that i join - that's if i decide to participate in the dance nite la. hmmm, if i do participate, i guess the max i'll be dancing is two dances? cos i've chi dance practice at least once a week. that means i'll arrive at a grand total of three practices or perhaps even four practices per week! that sounds quite heavy. the only good news is that the mad practices are relatively short - usually one hour plus, as compared to chi dance practice sessions which can last up to 5 hours plus, especially on saturdays!!
i wonder how long i will take to sort out my thoughts and come to a final decision...i don't have much time anyway. maybe by the time i arrive at a decision, i can't join the dance nite alr, cos i would've missed too many practices...sigh :(

okay, let me talk about something less frustrating. oh yes, i meant to blog about valentine's day and all, but in the end i didn't! guess i was lazy and busy. oh well. valentine's day was pretty fun! i received presents from my angel (kaysiong) and mortal (alicia), and also some short messages an sweets from my classmates and dancemates! alicia gave me a necklace and a package consisting of sweets, lip gloss, nail art stickers and other small items, and kaysiong gave me this white roxy handbag with purple trimmings as well as a very interesting watch cum bracelet accessory :D thank you for the wonderful gifts! i hope u all liked the gifts i gave in return :) not to forget, me, huixuan and shiru gathered at my house for two cookie baking sessions on the sat and mon before valentine's day. our two batches of cookies differed a lot in terms of size and shape though! so we gave everyone in class one from each batch, wrapped them in very pretty napkins and secured them with gold ribbons and attached a happy valentine's day message. and we made shimin give gerald his cookies, hee! i think gerald was really embarrassed, so was shimin! but wat is there to be afraid of, since he already managed to pluck up enough courage to personally give shimin a pair of peilini's silver earrings on valantine's day, right? :D ha, and i heard kaiqian received a mysterious gift from an anonymous fellow. a certain fellow we believe to be from the opp bench..?

i realised that lots of things happened last week! that's why i've so much to blog about. last week was the official busy week of feb. monday: we sat for bio spa - a paper i thought was quite poorly set..the instructions didn't tally with our apparatus; tuesday: VALENTINE'S DAY!; wednesday: cross country; thursday: econs timed assignment - wonder how i faired; friday: dramafest; and finally sat: JTS!! okay, so u can see that my whole week was packed!

cross country: yep, i got my exercise but no prizes (duh!) i ran under the competitive category together with mingtse, tiff and xuanyi. came in number 64. i deproved! :( but i don't think i was in the best of shape anyway. oh! i know that alicia and xinyi also ran for competitive and they were pretty good! i think they were in the forty something positions, way to go! aiyah, should've just joined the mass run category...there'll be a greater chance of winning a prize! limen came in seventh for the mass run category! and the stoopid girl tried to trick me! of course i was not to be fooled! she attempted to cover the horizontal stroke of the number 7, and told me to see what she got. ha, didn't work! qingtan, my junior from chi dance, who was all dressed up for the x country run with her pink sweat band and all came in 5th for the competitive category! what a surprise! good job anyhow.

on to dramafest. we entered the LT late, so we only got seats on the steps, but the view was okay, so i don't have any complaints. ares was really good. their plot was good, and i thought the script was written very well! the play was about a murder story, and they arranged the play in such a way that the audience gets bits of info from the diff characters. the characters are being interrogated by the investigator, and they all provide differing accounts. the final and correct recount of the events are then given at the end, and suddenly everything comes into place! i was truly impressed :) as for apollo, the acting was not bad, but the form of entertainment it provided was a bit too horny for my liking. basically, the horny jokes are all related to this guy called dick. words and phrases such as "up and down", "penetrate deeper" are peppered throughout the speeches of the characters in the play. so u get the idea... as for athena, they presented the play 'Beyond', and 'Beyond' is absract as its title. artemis was the weaker of the facs because their storyline wasn't exactly strong. but anyhow, good job hongli! u really looked like the old woman u were supposed to play! :)

and finally, JTS! we had our dinner at nooch. was supposed to have it some place else, but there wasn't sufficent seating for a relatively large group, so we settled for nooch. the setting was nice, but the food was quite disappointing. we basically talked loudly, laughed loudly, took lots of pictures, and left the place empty and messy at around 9.45pm. it was quite fun. at our table, someone (i think yuming) started to say that the waiter looked like huixuan, and we all began scrutinizing the poor waiter who was trying his best to take our orders over the din that we made. he looked increasingly uncomfortable as the message passed down the rather long table - more and more of us took turns to glance at him and then back at huixuan to make the comparison. my conclusion: only his eyes and eyebrows looked
sort of like huixuan's. that's all la. and then after that, there was all the picture taking. scandalous pictures were taken! such as that of ritzley with rebecca, haha. oh, and there was ritzley's unusually smiley pic too! oh, haha, and after that kian wei was also trying to take smiley pics with shiru. it was quite hilarious, cos his smile seemed a little forced. but hx managed to capture one in which he was grinning - naturally. and we also bought a delicious choc cake for shiru, as well as tiff. too bad everyone was very full and many didn't try the cake.

so that was it for last week! it was a rather long week, i must say. anyway i'm considering changing my blog layout soon, so watch out for it :)
